About your connection to fictospec identity:
I've always had a deep connection to fiction, I think. I got obsessed with the TV show Psych at the age of five years old, and at the time I was deeply, deeply in love with Juliet. As I grew up, I started to focus more on fictional characters than kids my age around me, or people I was "supposed to" like - I'd play Star Trek Online instead of going to class because I wanted to see Tovan, and I'd spend my high school classes doodling images of the Fifth Doctor in page margins. I only realized I'm ficto last year, but it's been a huge part of my life as long as I can remember. I found a diary entry from when I was 11 comparing my feelings for a fictional character to the feelings I had for a friend of mine, and I wrote "I know it's not love because it's not like what I feel for [character]". I identify as 99% ficto with existent but very rare attraction to real life people.
